Dr. Kraft is an internationally renowned physician-scientist who specializes in translational asthma research is the Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson, as well as a Professor of Medicine and a Robert and Irene Flinn Endowed Chair in Medicine.  Prior to joining the University of Arizona in 2014, Dr. Monica Kraft, MD, was at Duke University, where she served as chief of the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care, as the Charles C.

Bonnie received her PhD in Biometrics (statistical study of biological phenomena) from The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (now part of the University of Colorado, Denver) in 1999 and was a postdoctoral fellow with the CDC at the National Center for Health Statistics, where she worked on methods of analysis for the aging and chronic diseases. Her scientific expertise is in immunobiology, oncology, and aging.

Erwin Lam currently serves as a clinical instructor for the Department of Pharmacy Practice and as an Internal Medicine Specialist at St Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. At his practice site he is responsible for coordinating the Orientation and Pharmacy Practice rotations for the PGY1 residents. His current focus is on improving collaboration on the healthcare team and reducing readmission rates.

Sandra Leal, PharmD, MPH, FAPhA is Vice President for Board of Pharmacy Advocacy & Regulatory Affairs. She served as the 166^th President of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). Dr. Leal has had diverse experience as a pharmacist, medical director, and public health clinician. She began her career at CVS Health as VP of Clinical Strategy and Collaborative Innovation with Aetna’s Medical Affairs team then as VP of Pharmacy Practice Innovation and Advocacy with CVS Pharmacy before her current role.

Dr. Jeannie Lee is Associate Dean for Student Services and Associate Professor in the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. She is also Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Geriatrics, General Internal Medicine & Palliative Medicine at the UA College of Medicine, and research associate and faculty in the Arizona Center on Aging. Dr. Lee has board certifications in pharmacotherapy and geriatric pharmacy and is a Fellow of American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Bernardo Lemos earned a PhD in 2007 from Harvard University studying evolutionary and population genomics of the Y-chromosome and the ribosomal DNA (rDNA) arrays. He then led the laboratory of environmental epigenetics at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and now serves as Professor and Coit Endowed Chair in Aging and Neurodegeneration at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona. His lab currently collaborates in projects examining human populations in China, Bangladesh, and the USA, as well as experimental studies in cell systems and model organisms.

Hongmin Li, PhD, joined the College of Pharmacy, University of Arizona Tucson in 2020 from the Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health. During the last 20 years, my laboratory focuses on both basic and translational sciences. In basic science part, we investigate the structures, functions and mechanisms of essential macromolecules involved in various cellular actions and disease processes.

Jianqin Lu, BPharm, PhD, researches the fundamental and applied aspects of nanotherapeutics for improved cancer and other diseases intervention. My lab strives to develop safe, efficacious, and translational nanomedicines at the interface of synthetic chemistry, drug discovery/delivery, nanotechnology, and tumor immunology. First, we are interested in unraveling the underlying mechanisms and principles on how the structural alterations of a sterol-modified phospholipid bilayer will impact the therapeutic delivery of small molecule drugs and genes (siRNA, mRNA, CRISPR).

Daniel C. Malone, PhD, FAMCP, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Arizona’s R. Ken Koit College Pharmacy and is Professor of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah’s Skaggs College of Pharmacy. His research over the past 20 years has focused on reducing the incidence of drug-drug interactions and improving clinical decision support for drug safety concerns.  He also has experience in randomized controlled trials, economic modeling, and outcomes research using observational data. Dr. Malone has over 200 peer-reviewed research publications.

Jennifer R. Martin is a Librarian in the Arizona Health Sciences Library and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science in the College of Pharmacy.
