Tyler Gallo, PharmD serves as assistant professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science and is cross-appointed in the Division of Clinical Data Analytics and Decision Support at the COLLEGE OF MEDICINE - PHOENIX. Dr. Gallo teaches quality improvement and drug literature evaluation. His research publications and poster presentations address health informatics, medication safety, mobile health QT interval measurement, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, and adverse drug events. 

Kam Gandhi received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is currently the Executive Director of the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Kam has extensive experience and knowledge in the community pharmacy arena having been a District Pharmacy Manager of Albertsons/Sav-On in the Arizona/California/Nevada/Texas/Utah market. One of Kam’s favorite quotes is, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” –Gandhi. Kam describes himself as a leader who leads by example.

A. Jay Gandolfi, PhD, is professor emeritus in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and the former associate dean for research and graduate studies (1999-2012). Dr. Gandolfi taught drug disposition in both PharmD and the graduate student curricula. He directed the Graduate Council and was director of the NIEHS Superfund Program from 1999-2012. Dr.

Rakhi Gibbons has over fifteen years of experience in the life sciences industry from research to startup experience to university technology transfer. She oversees all licensing operations for Tech Launch Arizona. In her position as Director, she has worked closely with faculty and researchers particularly in the Arizona Health Sciences Center, and life sciences departments across the university overseeing intellectual property.Prior to joining the University of Arizona, she served on the licensing team in the University of Michigan’s Office of Technology Transfer.

Elizabeth Hall-Lipsy, JD, MPH, assistant professor, Department of Pharmacy, Practice and Science, serves as director of the PharmD Forward program. Co-director of the Regulatory Science Program a collaboration between the University of Arizona Health Sciences and the James E. Rogers College of Law, and she serves as director of the Health Disparities Initiative and Community Outreach.

Ira Halpern co-founded  ModernHEALTHcare Inc. in 1975 and co-founded modern HOMEcare, Inc, in 1989. In his role as president of Modern HEALTH, he is primarily responsible for strategic business development, sales, and marketing. He holds a BS in pharmacy from UA and a BA in business administration from California State University in Northridge.





 

Weiguo Han, PhD, serves as assistant professor, research, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Pharmacy. He specializes in next-generation sequencing and cancer biomarker analysis and boasts extensive research and development experience in genetics, epigenetics and molecular biology. His work includes DNA, RNA miRNA, gene cloning, CRISPR/Cas9, SNP and genetic contributions to lung cancer.Author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, Han holds three patents.
