Open Faculty Positions

Assistant Professor, Pharmacology and Toxicology – Longevity and Related Neurodegenerative Diseases (2 openings)

Multiple tenure-track assistant professor positions are available in the Coit Center for Longevity and Neurotherapeutics at the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy. Areas of interest include aging, longevity, or neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and others. Candidates are expected to use multi-facet approaches to better understand biochemical, genetic, epigenetic, and environmental regulation of age-related diseases and healthy lifespan. Additional areas of interest include modeling diseases with iPSC and/or animal models, drug discovery towards age-related diseases, innovative application of artificial intelligence in aging and neurodegeneration. Candidates with research efforts on Rapamycin and other longevity therapeutics are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have an outstanding record of research accomplishments and are expected to develop an active extramurally-funded research program. Assistant Professor, Pharmacology and Toxicology - Neurotoxoicology, Injury and Repair

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona in Tucson invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor in neurotoxicology, injury, and repair. The successful candidate will join a department with current research strengths in multiple areas of pharmacology, toxicology, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceutics.
