Puja Patel

Dr. Puja Patel is a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist and Assistant Professor with expertise in clinical oncology, pharmacy education, and research. She completed PGY1 and PGY2 oncology residency training. She has practiced in the ambulatory oncology setting, with a focus on oral anticancer medications, including patient education and monitoring for adherence and toxicity associated with therapy. With over six years of experience in academia, she has served as a course coordinator and instructor in oncology pharmacotherapeutics and has precepted student pharmacists on Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotations. Her academic initiatives include redesigning pharmacy curricula and developing electives aimed at preparing students for postgraduate training and pharmacy practice. Her scholarship centers on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, emphasizing innovative educational strategies to improve student outcomes.
