Why did you choose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Medical Pharmacology & Toxicology? 

I chose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences because I believe pharmacy is a beautiful combination of biological, chemical, natural, and applied sciences. Pharmacy is a bedrock in healthcare and medicine, and goes hand in hand with any other healthcare practice. I chose to minor Pharmacology and Toxicology because I believe pharmacology and toxicology is the bridge between pharmaceuticals and all other medical sciences that hold each other accountable.

What are your career interests?

I'm interested in achieving a PharmD to become a Pain Management Pharmacist or working towards a PhD to contribute to research in Pain Management and/or Forensic Toxicology studies!

What piece of advice would you give to an incoming PharmSci or PharmTox student?

Research the different areas of Pharmacy/Pharmacology that you could study, and see where your heart lies! What you study doesn't have to be set in stone, and is allowed to change from time to time! Don't settle, you're better than you think you are!
