Why did you choose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Medical Pharmacology & Toxicology?

I chose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences because of my interest in ensuring patient care is accessible and reflective of people's needs. By understanding the multiple approaches to treatment and the roles of medications, Pharmaceutical Sciences gives me the opportunity to continue improving patient treatments and explore the process behind drug development and how that knowledge can be translated to patients.

What are your career interests?

I am interested in becoming a pediatric oncology clinical pharmacist and professor, with the goal of supporting future PharmSci and PharmTox students.

What piece of advice would you give to an incoming PharmSci or PharmTox student?

Explore your interests! Because PharmSci and PharmTox are interdisciplinary fields, the general education courses, clubs, research, and other activities you engage in will be valuable resources and experiences that can provide insight into the different perspectives and communities around you.
