Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose pharmacy because I have always been drawn to helping others and making a difference in people’s health. Moving to the U.S. helped me appreciate how important it is to have someone accessible, knowledgeable, and compassionate to turn to for health questions and recommendations. I have seen how impactful even small interactions with a pharmacist can be, whether it is answering a quick question or offering reassurance during a stressful time. I want to be someone patients can trust and turn to.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose the University of Arizona because of its strong pharmacy program, great faculty, and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare students for real-world pharmacy practice.

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

What excites me most about pharmacy is the chance to connect with people, learn something new every day, and really make a difference in patient's health and life.

What are your career interests?

I am dedicated to using my experience to resolve medication errors, improve patient safety, and develop innovative healthcare solutions for improved quality of life.

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

Build strong relationships with your peers and mentors, get involved early, and do not be afraid to ask questions. Take care of your wellness too! It is just as important as your studies for long-term success.
