Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

Working in a pharmacy showed me that pharmacy is about more than medications. It's about being someone patients can turn to for guidance and support. I was inspired by the pharmacists I worked with and chose to pursue a PharmD so I could build that trust and make a difference.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

The welcoming and supportive community! From faculty and staff to fellow students, I felt surrounded by people who genuinely wanted to see me succeed.

What about being a PharmD Ambassador excites YOU the most?

I'm most excited to share my journey, connect with future students, and hopefully help them feel more confident as they find their own path in pharmacy.

What inspires you most about the many possibilities a career in pharmacy can offer?

I love that pharmacy doesn't have one set path. It gives me the opportunity to explore different areas, discover what I'm passionate about, and continue growing throughout my career.

What are your career interests?

I am mostly interested in clinical pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry, but I am still exploring the different paths pharmacy offers and figuring out where my interests take me.

What piece of advice you would give to a prospective PharmD student?

Keep an open mind and say yes to opportunities, even if they are outside your comfort zone. Get involved in pharmacy organizations, meet new people, and explore different career paths. You never know what experiences, connections, or friendships may come from simply getting involved and giving something new a try.
