Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to pursue a PharmD to combine my passion for science with the opportunity to directly impact patient care. As someone with a background in pharmacology/toxicology, I aspire to contribute to improving patient outcomes and advancing healthcare practices through medication management, compounding, and clinical expertise.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

The University of Arizona offers a collaborative learning environment with outstanding faculty, excellent clinical training opportunities, and a focus on innovation in pharmacy practice, making it the perfect fit for my career aspirations.

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

I’m excited about the ability to positively influence patient care, particularly through personalized medication solutions in compounding pharmacy and improving the quality of life for older adults with chronic conditions.

What are your career interests?

I am interested in community pharmacy, with a focus on compounding, personalized medication solutions, and helping older adults manage chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and osteoarthritis.

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

"Stay curious and proactive". Pharmacy school is challenging, but it’s an opportunity to learn not only about medications but also about how to make a difference in patients' lives. Build strong relationships with your peers and mentors.
