Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I’ve always been interested in chemistry and human anatomy, which sparked my interest in learning how medications work in the body. By pursuing a PharmD Degree, I can apply these interests in a clinical setting, where I have the opportunity to support and give back to those in need within my local communities. 

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

The community at the University of Arizona COP is incredibly welcoming and supportive! The students here are very compassionate and motivated, and the faculty care deeply about student success. 

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

I am most excited to explore different pathways of pharmacy and its application to other fields including data science, genetics, and the aging population! 

What are your career interests?

I am interested in pursuing a career in industrial pharmacy.

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

Get to know your peers! Having a support system at school with people who are currently going through, or have gone through, the same experiences as you can be helpful when pharmacy school gets challenging. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or lean on others for support!
