Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I've always been interested in chemistry and human anatomy, which sparked my interest in learning how medications work in the body. Pursing a PharmD degree allows me to combine these interests and apply them in a clinical setting, where I can support patients and make meaningful differences in their lives.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose the University of Arizona COP because of how welcoming and close-knit the community is! The students are compassionate and driven, and the faculty are very supportive and encouraging.

What about being a PharmD Ambassador excites YOU the most?

I'm most excited to meet prospective students, share my experiences, and introduce them to the numerous opportunities that have made my time at the college so meaningful!

What inspires you most about the many possibilities a career in pharmacy can offer?

I'm most inspired by the many ways pharmacists influence patient care. Whether working directly with patients or behind the scenes, their knowledge ensures that patients receive safe and effective treatment.

What are your career interests?

I am currently interested in pursuing a career in industry pharmacy or completing a clinical residency specializing in geriatrics or critical care.

What piece of advice you would give to a prospective PharmD student?

Get to know your peers! Having a support system at school with people who are currently going through, or have gone through, the same experiences as you can be helpful when pharmacy school gets challenging. Don't be afraid to ask for help or lean on others for support!
