Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to get my PharmD degree due to being interested in the healthcare field, yet not wanting to pursue medicine. 

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose U of A due to the college having better stats compared to Midwestern.

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

I am most excited about the potential to go into drug research. 

What are your career interests?

As of now, I am mainly interested in drug research or working in a hospital as a pharmacist. 

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

One piece of advice that I would give to a prospective PharmD student is to work as a technician somewhere to see if you like the pharmacy environment. 

On and off-campus involvement

• Technician trainee at Potter's House Apothecary
• Volunteer at health fairs
• Undergraduate research at ASU that studied bexarotene
• ASU research project that studied how folate supplementation affected different receptors in the body
• Volunteer at my church
