Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to get my PharmD degree because I like the intersectionality of medications, science, and healthcare! I find the degree to be incredibly versatile and applicable to many different fields.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose the University of Arizona because I am a Wildcat through and through! My undergraduate career was at U of A, and continued to "Bear Down" for pharmacy school! 

What about being a PharmD Ambassador excites YOU the most?

I am excited to connect with prospective students and share my journey with them! I look forward to engaging with others that are interested in pharmacy!

What inspires you most about the many possibilities a career in pharmacy can offer?

What inspires me is that my career can be fluid, meaning it does not have to be a set path. It can pivot, change, and intersect with other fields!

What are your career interests?

I am keeping an open mind, but I am interested in ambulatory care and hospital pharmacy!

What piece of advice you would give to a prospective PharmD student?

My advice is to be honest with yourself on what works and doesn't work for you. It is important to pause, reflect, and adapt with your habits and routine to cultivate a lifestyle that'll lift you up in your PharmD journey instead of drag you down!

On and off-campus involvement

Currently, on campus, I am the Class Representative for my cohort, Secretary of the Student College of Clinical Pharmacy, and a PharmD Ambassador. I am a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, APhA-ASP, AzPA-SPA, and APID-SPO. I am also a Senior Advisor for the Filipino American Student Association. Off campus, I work as a Pharmacy Intern for CVS.
