Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to pursue my PharmD because it combines my interest in medications and how they work with my passion for helping others. Pharmacy also gives me a platform to advocate for underrepresented communities while also working to improve access to safe, effective, and equitable healthcare.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose the University of Arizona because of its respected reputation, strong PharmD program, and opportunity to earn my degree in-state at a competitive tuition rate.

What about being a PharmD Ambassador excites YOU the most?

What excites me most about being a PharmD Ambassador is connecting with prospective students and helping them discover everything the University of Arizona has to offer.

What inspires you most about the many possibilities a career in pharmacy can offer?

What inspires me most is the endless variety within pharmacy. It is a profession where I can continue learning, explore different specialties, and build a career that never feels limited or repetitive.

What are your career interests?

My career interests include working in a hospital or retail setting after graduation to gain experience, with the long-term goal of potentially opening and operating an independent pharmacy.

What piece of advice you would give to a prospective PharmD student?

My advice to prospective PharmD students is to consider what they truly value in a school. If you want a supportive environment where faculty care about your success and upperclassmen support underclassmen, University of Arizona PharmD program is a great place to be.

On and off-campus involvement

On campus, I serve as President-Elect of NCPA and Director of Communications for IPhO, developing my leadership and communication skills. Off campus, I work as a pharmacy intern at Phoenix Children's Hospital, gaining valuable experience in inpatient care and the pharmacy profession.
