Why did you choose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Medical Pharmacology & Toxicology? 

I chose this major because I believe it's well-rounded in the scientific aspects of the medical field but provides the basis to understand a multitude of concepts without being overbearing. As of today, our society relies heavily on pharmacy to treat patients, and understanding that is one big step towards my goal. 

What are your career interests?

As of now, I've been extremely interested in emergency medicine and nuclear pharmacy. I find it interesting and engaging how rapid and precise one needs to be to care for patients; however, my mind is still open to many possibilities! 

What piece of advice would you give to an incoming PharmSci or PharmTox student?

The more organized you are, the easier it is to stay on top of your responsibilities. Don't be afraid to have some fun and explore around campus; you only have four years!
