Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?
Growing up, I was inspired by how pharmacists played a big role in helping a family member manage their health conditions. I was also amazed by how medications worked and the many ways they help people. These experiences motivated me to pursue a PharmD degree and use the knowledge that I gain from it to help others.
Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?
I chose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy because its core values -Integrity, Compassion, Exploration, Adaptation, Inclusion, and Determination- align with my own.
What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?
I'm excited to explore more of the different types of pharmacy settings and to continue gaining more knowledge and skills that I need to become a great pharmacist!
What are your career interests?
Currently, I'm interested in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Pharmacy. My goal is to explore either one of these or another specialized field through a residency.
What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?
My advice would be to do your best, get involved, and have fun while doing it. We have our whole lives to be pharmacists after we finish school. Try your best to be on top of all of the school work, but make sure you're also taking care of yourself.
