Why did you choose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Medical Pharmacology & Toxicology?

I chose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences because I have always wanted to help people in a medical setting. This field allows me to gain knowledge about drugs and hands-on experience that I can use in a pharmaceutical environment. I want to be able to improve patients' lifestyles and potentially save lives by applying the information and skills I gain throughout my studies.

What are your career interests?

My career interests consist of receiving my PharmD and becoming a community Pharmacist.

What piece of advice would you give to an incoming PharmSci or PharmTox student?

A piece of advice I would give to an incoming PharmSci or PharmTox student is to put yourself out there and stay open to new opportunities. The connections you make during your undergraduate years can be long-lasting and play an important role in your future career.
