Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

Throughout my high school and college career, I developed a fascination for learning about the science and physiology of the human body. I felt empowered to utilize this fascination to positively impact individuals’ health and wellbeing. As I learned more about the duties of a pharmacist, it became evident that a career in pharmacy allows for this fascination to directly become a career fueled by passion. A career in pharmacy grants me the opportunity to be a care-provider, educator, and continuous learner all in one.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy due to the extracurricular opportunities, their reputation, and clinical partnerships.

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

The world of pharmacy allows me to be a continuous learner and provides me countless opportunities to positively impact individuals' health.

What are your career interests?

I am interested in specializing in a specific field such as infectious disease or solid organ transplant. I am also interested in industry positions such as a medical science liaison.

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

Pharmacy school is heavily influenced by the people you surround yourself with. Do not try to push through it alone. build strong friendships with your classmates. These relationships make studying more effective and the content far less intimidating when tackled together as a team.
