Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to pursue a PharmD after a medication error contributed to my great-grandparent's death. Inspired by my mother's career in retail pharmacy, I am earning a PharmD to help protect patients from experiencing similar tragedies through safe, accurate, and compassionate medication care.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

The welcoming community made me feel I belonged. Its support and academic excellence made the College the right place for me to develop into the pharmacist I aspire to be.

What about being a PharmD Ambassador excites YOU the most?

What excites me most is being a bridge for prospective students by fostering connections and showing them the supportive environment where future pharmacists can learn, grow, and succeed.

What inspires you most about the many possibilities a career in pharmacy can offer?

I am most inspired by pharmacy's potential to continually evolve, creating opportunities to use emerging technologies and innovations to address everyday challenges in medication access, workflow, and patient care.

What are your career interests?

My career interest is community pharmacy leadership, where I can expand access to care, develop meaningful services, and empower pharmacists to make a greater impact on community health.

What piece of advice you would give to a prospective PharmD student?

My advice is to choose growth over discouragement. Not every experience will go as expected, but every challenge teaches something valuable. A positive mindset turns setbacks into opportunities, and your passion for learning and perseverance can inspire others to embrace growth and become compassionate pharmacists.
