Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to pursue a PharmD because I’ve always been fascinated by how medications work and how they can improve lives. I enjoy learning about drugs, their interactions, and how to use them safely and effectively. Being part of the healthcare field allows me to combine my interest in science with a passion for helping others. Pharmacy offers the perfect balance of clinical knowledge, patient care, and continuous learning.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I went to U of A for undergrad and loved the school and program so much I wanted to continue being a wildcat for pharmacy school!

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

I am excited to explore all the different career paths available. The options are truly endless and being able to preview them while in pharmacy school is something I am looking forward to!

What are your career interests?

I am currently interested in Hospital Administration/Leadership in a pharmacy setting. I like that there is the opportunity to grow while in a position like that!

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

My biggest piece of advice is to make sure you find a good group of friends to study with! Pharmacy school is hard but finding the right people to make it more enjoyable is the key to being successful!
