Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?
I chose the PharmD path because of its diverse career opportunities and the personal interest I developed during my undergraduate healthcare research. Among all the healthcare fields I explored, pharmacy stood out as the most fascinating. I’ve always been passionate about learning how drugs work and the powerful role they play in improving people’s lives.
Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?
I’ve always loved the U of A, where I studied physiology and medical sciences. Growing up in Tucson with family here made U of A Pharmacy the perfect choice for me.
What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?
I'm most excited to graduate with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in healthcare and improve the lives of others through the practice of pharmacy.
What are your career interests?
I am currently most interested in community/retail pharmacy. Although I am still considering a fellowship or an outpatient residency.
What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?
Start the semester strong by taking advantage of all extra credit opportunities, review sessions, and office hours. Doing well from the very beginning will help reduce stress at the end of the semester when everything starts to add up.
