Ashley Campbell, PharmD, BCPS is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science and a clinical pharmacist in internal medicine and geriatrics at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson. where she coordinates the PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency Program. Her numerous abstracts, articles and presentations address geriatrics, pharmacotherapy, anticoagulation, melatonin, and active learning strategies. There, she precepts student pharmacists and pharmacy residents on the internal medicine rounding service, and is key member of the geriatric medicine consult team. In the classroom, Dr. Campbell is passionate about connecting with her learners through incorporating a variety of active learning strategies and making learning fun. She is particularly interested in optimizing medication safety in older adults, and her research has been recognized by the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) through multiple poster awards.
