Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I've always been passionate about healthcare and the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients' lives through meaningful care. A mentor helped me see just how influential pharmacists can be - serving as a critical bridge between the healthcare system and the patient. As I explored the field further, my passion for pharmacy only grew. What drew me in even more was the versatility of a PharmD degree: the potential for career mobility, the constantly evolving nature of the field, and the widespread opportunities for jobs. These are all qualities I sought in a career, and I can confidently say I haven’t looked back!

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

The people! I found such an amazing support network here as a prospective student, which has only grown stronger over the past few years. Also... no more snow!

What are you most excited about in the versatile WORLD of Pharmacy?

The constant evolution and growth in this career continually present new opportunities to make a positive impact and develop professionally, and that’s what truly excites and motivates me!

What are your career interests?

I hope to pursue specialized pharmacy - working with potentially cardiology, oncology, or organ transplant patients in a hospital or industry role.

What advice would you give to a prospective PharmD student?

Do not be the person who counts you out. There are so many amazing opportunities in our college and in the field of pharmacy - do not let yourself be the reason you don't go for them! Be confident in your abilities, believe in yourself, and stay open to growth. You've got this!
