Why did you choose to get your PharmD Degree?

I chose to pursue my PharmD to gain a deeper understanding of how medications interact with the body and how they can be used safely and effectively. I want to use that knowledge to help educate others to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Why did you choose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy?

I chose the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy because its supportive community and dedicated professors are committed to students' success, creating an environment that encourages me to thrive.

What about being a PharmD Ambassador excites YOU the most?

What excites me most is meeting students and staff from different schools and professional fields, allowing me to educate others while gaining more knowledge and perspective on pharmacy.

What inspires you most about the many possibilities a career in pharmacy can offer?

What inspires me most is the versatility of a PharmD. Having so many career pathways available, I can explore different opportunities, discover what fits me best, and take new directions.

What are your career interests?

I am interested in becoming an ambulatory care pharmacist, where I can work directly with patients and help educate patients on medications and how to improve their health.

What piece of advice you would give to a prospective PharmD student?

My advice is to find a healthy balance between school and your social life. Also, build a strong support system by surrounding yourself with people who motivate you and will study with you. Having the right group can make the PharmD journey more enjoyable and manageable.
