Title: Graduate Programs Coordinator
Denise is the Graduate Program Coordinator for the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy. She received her bachelor's and master’s from the University of Arizona. Denise is excited to be able to work and support the graduate students at College of Pharmacy. Her office aims to provide outstanding service, enabling and ensuring the progression and academic growth and success of our graduate students.

What do you like to do in your free time?
- On my free time I like to spend time with family and friends.
What’s your favorite Wildcat activity?
- My favorite Wildcat Activity is going to football games!
Was there a defining moment when you knew this was the right career path for you?
- Through my different volunteer activities and job opportunities, even though they were not linked to education, somehow I was always finding a connection to education. It was here that I realized that education was my career path.
How do you stay motivated and energized in your role, especially during busy periods?
- I always think about the impact I will make on my students' educational career and how they are my priority and motivation.
What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
- Always be open to constructive criticism and open-minded. This will allow you to grow.
