State of the College 2024

Each year The R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy hosts the State of the College Employee Appreciation Event, bringing together faculty and staff from both campuses. This year the event was hosted at HSIB where faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the occasion.

Dean Schnellmann shared departmental highlights, special announcements, and presented awards to recognize the members of our community who embody the mission of the college and help to advance the college’s people, programs, and profession. The awards portion of the program is a crucial opportunity to recognize those for their dedication, service and research contributions. "Our faculty and staff are paramount to the success of this college. I couldn't be prouder of the work they put in and the support they give our students. Each year I look forward to this event as a chance to recognize their efforts and thank them for their dedication," says Schnellmann.

Nominations are held annually by peers, with recipients selected by a faculty committee or Dean Schnellmann himself. This year, seven employees received awards for their work and contributions to the college.
