Caitlin Cameron, PharmD, serves as assistant professor and curriculum director for College of Pharmacy at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus where she provides classroom support and facilitates courses that require discussion and casework. Her efforts support expansion of the doctor of pharmacy program.

Ashley Campbell, PharmD, BCPS is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science and a clinical pharmacist in internal medicine and geriatrics at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson. where she coordinates the PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency Program.

William Cance is the principal investigator on a current R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute focusing on Focal Adhesion Kinase and has been continuously funded by the National Cancer Institute since 1992. He holds eight United States patents, including a patent for kinase protein binding inhibitors. In addition to authoring more than 130 peer-reviewed publications and 10 book chapters, he is the founding editor-in-chief of the Society of Surgical Oncology-branded database of Complex General Surgical Oncology. The Chapman lab is a chemical biology lab. They are primarily focused on finding synthetic small molecules or natural probes and leads through targeted approaches, on understanding the mechanisms and modes of action of these molecules, and on improving the molecules through medicinal chemistry. We use contemporary molecular biology and protein biochemistry procedures to produce the desired target proteins and then develop assays amenable to moderate to high throughput screening.

Research

Dr. Chen’s laboratory utilizes cutting-edge technologies (e.g. single cell RNAseq, CRISPR, gene-targeting mouse models, etc.) to understand molecular pathogenesis of various lung diseases. The goal is to identify novel targets for therapy and drug development. Dr. Chen’s research has been continuously funded by the National Institute of Health as well as foundations and state departments for over 18 years.

Nathan Cherrington, PhD, ATS, associate dean for research and professor, Pharmacology and Toxicology—directs the NIEHS P30 Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center and the NIEHS T32 Training in Environmental Toxicology of Human Disease. He also serves as interim director for the College's Center for Toxicology, and holds joint appointments as professor, Clinical Translation Services and in the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, University of Arizona.

Perry Cohen is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Pharmacy Group LLC. This company provides marketing services to healthcare, information technology and pharmaceutical companies Perry is a co-founder, past president and fellow of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, a member of the Drug Topics Editorial Advisory Board, Managed Healthcare Executive Editorial Board of Advisors, and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council, University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy.

R. Ken Coit graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1967, but practiced pharmacy for just three years before beginning a career in investing and financial planning. Ken completed an MBA degree from Pepperdine University while developing his business. He is founder and head of Coit Financial and he is a private real estate investment banker who specializes in leveraged, multi-family properties located in California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.

Jack R. Cole is dean emeritus and professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. He received his bachelor of science in pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona in 1953 and his doctor of philosophy in medicinal chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1957. Jack was the dean of the College of Pharmacy from 1977 to 1990, and later became the provost and senior vice president for academic affairs for the university.
