Security Policy

• Each student may invite 8 guests
• Students will receive ticket information
• Students forward individual tickets to guests
• Auditorium doors open at 1 PM

Additional Tickets - 

• Will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event when doors open.
• Guests must provide the student’s name they are there to see graduate and have an electronic device to receive the ticket.

Who Needs a Ticket?

• Every person requiring a seat needs a ticket (1 seat = 1 ticket).
• Infants in carriers also require a ticket. Please note that carriers cannot be placed on the floor or in aisles—they must occupy a seat.
• All walkways must remain clear.

Directions & Parking

12:30–1:30 PM — Check-In & Headshots

• Get Regalia on
• Place limited personal items (one labeled gallon bag per student) in the Safe Keeping Tubs for pickup at the reception.
• Take fun pre-event photos

1:30 PM —

• Quick rehearsal "How to": 1- walk on 2- get acknowledged/ hooded, 3-walk off stage
• Students will be lined up based on program and in alpha order

• Student processional
• Messages from leadership
• Acknowledgements - BSPS, MSPS, PharmD, PhD
• Oath of a Pharmacist
• Individual photo opportunities

Candid photography will be shared.  DiFranco Photography will contact students directly for the Individual Headshot taken as you all walk off stage.

What is COMMENCEMENT?

Commencement is the large, university-wide celebration where all University of Arizona graduates are recognized together as a college. During this ceremony, graduates are acknowledged collectively and are not called individually by name.

Attendance is not required, but it is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this milestone as part of the broader Wildcat community.
