A general scholarship account open to PharmD students. 

Established in 1995 in memory of Mary Caldwell who worked at UA for 55 years, first as a biology and bacteriology professor and then as a researcher. 

The scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Pharmacy who has completed two or more years of the curriculum and is an Arizona resident who graduated from an Arizona high school.     

A scholarship for full-time PharmD students entering their second or third year in the College of Pharmacy. Recipients must be in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and be interested in pursuing a career in hospital pharmacy practice. Recipients should also show active involvement in pharmacy leadership and community activities.  

Established in 2001 in honor of Jack Cole, Class of 1953, who was the first alumnus to be appointed dean (1977-1987). The scholarship is for students enrolled in the College in their third year who have achieved outstanding academic performance with a GPA of at least 3.6 and who have demonstrated involvement in College activities.  

Established in 2007 in memory of Phillip Cruz, Class of 1971, by his brother Ernest, family and friends. The scholarship is for a student in his or her second year of study who has a demonstrated need, has achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher and intends to pursue a career in a hospital or community pharmacy.   

Recipients of this award shall be students in the College and will be awarded annually upon the basis of financial need, academic achievement and a desire to work in community pharmacy. 

Established in 2010 by Bill and Betty, friends of the college. Betty worked at UA for 34 years and Bill has been a registered pharmacist for more than 60 years. The scholarship is for continuing third or fourth year full-time PharmD students at the College and recipients must have maintained a 3.5 GPA. 

The family, friends and classmates of Jason Gilray, PharmD, Class of 2002, established this scholarship in honor of him. Funding supports a PharmD student who is entering into their fourth year of experiential education. The student should exhibit a real passion for the pharmacy profession and be interested in providing patient care at the most compassionate level.   

Established in 1995 by David Goot, Class of 1975, and his wife, Ellen, who founded Goot Pharmacies in 1978. Funding is for a third or fourth year student in the College with demonstrated financial need and a GPA of 3.0 or better.  The recipient must demonstrate interest in independent/community pharmacy and business entrepreneurial aspects of professional practice.

This fund rotates between Engineering, Business and Pharmacy.  

Established in 2008 by Metta Lou Henderson, who received three degrees from the college (BS 1961; MS 1966; PhD 1978) and dedicated her career to the pharmacy profession. She continues to serve the college as friend and adviser today. The fund supports third and fourth year College of Pharmacy students based on the demonstration of strong leadership qualities.   

Established in 2007 by Bill Jones, Class of 1972, who has dedicated his career to clinical teaching.  Funding provides a scholarship for a third or fourth-year student who has demonstrated an interest in a postgraduate residency and a career in health system pharmacy.   

Established in 2002 by Carolyn Keaton's family in memory of her determination and courage. A member of the Class of 2003, she passed in 2002 and was awarded the doctor of pharmacy degree posthumously. This fund supports students enrolled in the College of Pharmacy who are in their fourth year with preference given to females and nontraditional students.  

A PharmD student who has demonstrated a history of community outreach, service, and activism, particularly to and on behalf of underserved communities. The Award winner must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Not renewable. 

Established in 1987 by colleagues and friends in honor of Albert Picchioni’s contributions to the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology as professor from1953 to 1987 and department head) and his role as founder of the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center.  

This funding supports a third-year professional student in Pharmacy; demonstrating leadership, scholarship and professional promise.  

This funding is for students enrolled in Pharmacy. Awarding is based in academic achievement or financial need.

This funding supports a student in any year who has been accepted and is enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Pharmacy professional program at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. Students must demonstrate academic achievement with an entering GPA of at least 3.5 or a professional pharmacy student GPA of at least 3.5, and financial need. Preference is given to students who have worked in and/or volunteered in a compounding pharmacy. 

Established in 2007 by Stanley Reinhaus, Class of 1957, a retired pharmacist and benefactor of scholarships at 13 colleges of pharmacy at universities west of the Mississippi. Students must be enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, demonstrate academic achievement with a GPA of at least 2.5 and demonstrated financial need who are independent of parental contributions to their support. Students must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Arizona and are eligible to become licensed pharmacists in Arizona.  

The fund is being established in honor of Sandra Rogers to support an annual scholarship to be awarded to a deserving PharmD student of the College of Pharmacy who has a proven background, past and present, of contributing to student organizations and activities.  While GPA may be considered, GPA alone is not the qualifying factor.  The student must have demonstrated a history of involvement, service and leadership to their peers and the College. 

This funding supports Pharmacy students demonstrating interest in pharmaceutical research and demonstrating financial need.   

This funding supports a PharmD student who has demonstrated academic achievement and financial need, with greater weight given to financial need. Students must be enrolled members of federally recognized Native American tribes, or have demonstrated knowledge, understanding and commitment to Hispanic heritage or having served the Hispanic community. 

Named in memory of PharmD alumni Matthew Wade, this scholarship supports students in good standing in the College of Pharmacy with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to applicants from rural areas. 

Established by the Sharps in honor of their son Bruce Sharp, Class of 1970, this scholarship is designated for PharmD students in good standing. This funding supports medical student scholarships in the Department of Pharmacy.
