Kathleen Kaa

Kathleen Kaa is the Vice President of Commercial Programs at Foundation Medicine, enabling deep partnerships with organized oncology customers across the U.S.  Prior to this role she was Head of Global Pricing and Market Access for Roche Oncology, developing and driving global strategies to optimize market access for early and late-stage products.  At Genentech, Kathleen held senior leadership positions in reimbursement operations and field reimbursement; managed care marketing; and in value-based healthcare where she supported providers, patients, brand teams, and led engagements with U.S. commercial payers.

Prior to joining Roche, Kathleen led AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group data and informatics teams; private payer consulting practices at Lash Group; and was the President of Managed Care Network.  She has significant national clinical and health plan management experience from her tenure at Aetna and Prudential Healthcare in areas of clinical and formulary management, pharmacoeconomics, program and business development, and disease management.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and Trustees for the AMCP Foundation.Kathleen holds a Ph.D. Pharmacy Administration, Economics from the University of South Carolina and a B.S. Pharmacy from the University of Washington.
