Why did you choose to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Medical Pharmacology & Toxicology? 

During my senior year of high school, I decided to pursure a program for becoming a pharmacy technician. At one point of the school year, a BSPS student came to talk to us about the PharmSci program and their experience at the UofA. With the interest I gained during my time with the progam and after talking with that student, I was motivated to declare a Pharmaceutical Sciences major.

What are your career interests?

I hope to enter the cosmetics chemistry industry with some background of pharmaceutical sciences.

What piece of advice would you give to an incoming PharmSci or PharmTox student?

Don't be afraid to push yourself. There will be times where you fail and want to give up. Those first two years can be hard. Don't worry, we've all been there, and there will be a way to get through those difficult courses. You got this!
