Hilary Sheevers

Hilary Sheevers received her PhD from the University of Arizona in 1994, under Dr. A. Jay Gandolfi. After leaving Arizona, Dr. Sheevers was employed in CDER at FDA, Washington, D.C., as a reviewer and a supervisor.  At FDA, she served on or chaired committees including carcinogenicity, reproductive and developmental toxicity, phototoxicity, botanical products, and excipients. Since leaving FDA, Hilary has consulted as a senior toxicologist to the pharmaceutical industry, and founded Aclairo PDG, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in drugs and biologics development.  Hilary recent experiences include development programs across indications, including programs in oncology, pulmonary, anti-viral/bacteria, neurology, psychiatry, GI, inflammatory diseases, and pain.  Hilary’s clients include large and mid-size pharma, as well as biotechs.  Aclairo was sold to Experimental Pathology Laboratories (EPL, Inc.) in 2016. At Aclairo, Hilary served as president for 13 years, and now serves as senior consultant and founder to aid in succession planning.
