Student Summer Internships!

Congratulations to Uche Agu and Kristen Gregory on their summers internship positions!

Uche is pursuing his PhD Degree in Health and Pharmaceutical Outcomes and is currently in my first year. 

His internship will be a 12-week summer internship with the pharmaceutical company Abbvie, where he will work in the area of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). As a HEOR intern, he will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups, such as Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Strategy divisions, to support the value of assets across several therapeutic areas. 

Uche is looking forward to his summer experience! "This internship will help me achieve a general understanding of the dynamics of HEOR within the pharmaceutical industry. Secondly, it will help me generate useful ideas to be used in my research works. Finally, I hope to build my professional network in the field of HEOR for the purpose of professional development." 

Kristen Gregory's summer internship is with Horizon Therapeutics, where she will be working in the Health Economics, Outcomes, and Research (HEOR) Department. 

Kristen is a first-year Ph.D. student in Health and Pharmaceutical Outcomes. 

"What I hope to gain from this internship is professional development, mentorship, and transfer techniques I learn this summer and apply to my thesis and dissertation," said Kristen about her summer internship.
