The University of Arizona College of Pharmacy is pleased to announce the appointment of Erika Grassé, an accomplished fundraiser with experience in educational and health care philanthropy, as its development director.
Grassé will support efforts to raise significant levels of philanthropic support for the College. She will work closely with College leadership, along with department heads, directors and faculty members, to ensure alignment and implementation of all development goals and activities.
“We are excited to have Erika join our team. She brings a high level of fundraising expertise to the College Pharmacy,” said Rick G. Schnellmann, PhD, professor and dean of the college. “We are confident in her ability to deepen the PharmCat connection with our donors, friends, and alumni.”
Grassé began her development career in 2000 at the UArizona as an Assistant Director of Development in the UA’s College of Science. In 2004, Erika moved on to the Director of Development position at St. Michael’s Parish Day School where she managed all fundraising and marketing activities. In 2006, she was recruited to join the Tucson Medical Center Foundation team and worked there as the Director of Development for the Children’s Miracle Network for the last 13 years. Erika obtained her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Arizona.
“I am thrilled to be working with the College of Pharmacy,” shared Grasse. “The mission of the college aligns with my personal and professional values, and I look forward to helping to further the work being done on this campus.”
