Musil, a 1994 graduate of the PharmD program, is the founder and owner of The Apothecary Shops, a national specialty pharmacy group of 17 stores in Arizona and six other states. The Phoenix native began the business in 1996 after purchasing a community pharmacy in Scottsdale, Ariz., that he had managed for slightly more than a year.
Those nominating Musil called him “one of the most successful business entrepreneurs in the state of Arizona” and lauded him for his dedication “to the patients he serves” and to the profession of pharmacy.

Musil is a member of the College of Pharmacy National Advisory Board and a preceptor to pharmacy students. He is affiliated with many professional organizations, and is a past president of the Arizona Pharmacy Alliance.
