Business Manager

Rosie Huerta joined the College of Pharmacy staff in October 1985 and holds the position of business manager in Pharmacy Administration. In her position, she handles personnel issues for faculty and staff of the college, assists the assistant dean for finance and administration with accounting and other financial matters for the College of Pharmacy, including:

  • Enter and monitor postings on UACareers
  • Process new hire transactions: offer letters, e-verify, RPO, and background checks
  • Process employee job change transactions: raises, FTE changes, title changes, supplemental compensation, termination, and retirement
  • Review timesheet entry and reconcile to Employee Absence Forms
  • Request off-cycle checks if needed
  • Provisioning access for new and existing employees
  • Process Family Medical Leave paperwork
