The UA College of Pharmacy's PharmD program is offered at the college's site on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, a city initiative bringing bioresearch and education to downtown.
The College Expanded its PharmD program to Phoenix in 2014. What began as a small cohort of three has grown into an annual admission of approximately 70 students.
Why Phoenix?
Location, location, location. Situated on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in vibrant Downtown Phoenix, students mix and mingle with health professions students from ASU, NAU, and UArizona. Students enjoy professional sports games (Go Suns! Go Dbacks!), shop and dine in the Roosevelt Art District, learn about Phoenix’s past, present, and future at Heritage and Science Park, and get their culture on at the Orpheum Theatre. Light rail and the main bus terminal are steps away, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a quick 10-minute drive from campus. Students are exposed to a variety of leadership opportunities on campus, within the college and throughout the Phoenix-metro area.
The College of Pharmacy's PharmD program uses modern classroom video conferencing technology to simultaneously deliver courses in Tucson and Phoenix. Students in both locations have full interaction with professors and each other. There are instructors on site to answer students' questions and guide learning activities.
Visiting the College
The College of Pharmacy is located in Building 3, second floor. Visitors will be asked to check in with security at the front desk of the Health Sciences and Education Building. Security will escort you to our building and allow access to enter. Staff and students will need to wear their CatCard badge for secure entry into the buildings.
Parking
Parking is available on campus. We encourage guests to park in the PBC Garage located at 555 E. Fillmore Street (corner of 5th and Fillmore on the graphic below).
