The sky was overcast on the morning of the College of Pharmacy’s Graduation Convocation 2015, but graduating students’ smiles more than made up for the gray horizon and cool temperatures of May 15.
Every spring, the students of Phi Delta Chi organize a softball tournament to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“We have had the softball tournament for as long as our current adviser can remember,” says Julia Olson, chief counselor of Phi Delta Chi, “so it’s been at least 12 years.”
April 10 turned out to be a day to remember for the 99 doctor of pharmacy students who that afternoon began their transition from the classroom phase to the clinical phase of their pharmacy education.
