Professor explains his innovative research
Christopher Hulme, associate professor in the college's Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, was one of five University of Arizona faculty members featured in the UA at the Leading Edge activities that took place March 29, 2011. UA at the Leading Edge is a showcase of faculty work that was part of the eighth annual observance of Innovation Day at UA. This is the video prepared for that day.
Hulme and members of his research group are located in BIO5 Oro Valley, where they develop novel small molecule libraries with exceptional potency and selectivity to explore multiple therapeutic areas. They have validated a process work flow that will create small and large libraries of novel compounds to be used in biochemical and biological screenings as part of the drug discovery process.
