Graduate Student Presents at AACP

 
Rhys Axon, a graduate student in health and pharmaceutical outcomes, and Dr. Marion Slack presented their research at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy annual meeting in Nashville, TN.
 
Rhys Axon, MPharm, MS graduate student in health and pharmaceutical outcomes, and Professor Marion Slack, PhD presented their research at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) annual meeting in Nashville, TN.  Rhys presented two posters at the AACP conference including:
 
"An Assessment of Student Pharmacists’ Knowledge and Attitudes on Herbal Medications" (authors: Axon DR, Augustine JM, & Lee JK) and
"A Patient-Centered Conceptual Model for Investigating the Outcomes of Pain Self-Management" (authors: Axon DR, Patel M, & Slack MK).
 
Rhys also had his first paper published last week in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE) entitled "Dietary Supplement Use, Knowledge and Perceptions Among Student Pharmacists" (authors: Axon DR, Vanova J, Edel C, & Slack MK).
