Wildcat alumni and their families returned to campus to reconnect with friends and relive college memories this past weekend during Homecoming 101. At the College of Pharmacy, alumni enjoyed special tours and an outdoor reception on a mild autumn evening.

Sixteen members of the Class of 1965 turned out for their 50-year reunion. Reunion activities included a lunch in the Brewer Room of the college and a guided tour of the History of Pharmacy Museum. Some of the class also visited the Medication Management Center for a tour.

During the evening reception, more than 200 COP alumni, faculty and others enjoyed beer, wine and appetizers and catching up on news and friendships. The Medication Management Center celebrated its 10th year of operation with remarks and anniversary cake. Four outstanding alumni and friends of the college were honored with awards, and the Class of 1965 (along with a little help from other enthusiastic participants) won a spirit contest against the Class of 2005.

On Saturday morning, dedicated Wildcats fans rose early to tailgate and watch the Homecoming parade. Though the football team’s afternoon loss to Washington State disappointed, PharmCats will continue to Bear Down!
