Perfect weather, a Wildcat gridiron victory and fun encounters with friends and fans – UA’s 100th Homecoming was beyond excellent in nearly every way!

Here at the College of Pharmacy, we started off on Friday, Nov. 7 with a 50th reunion lunch for the Class of 1964. Then it was on to our compounding lab for mixing and making by several alumni in the afternoon. By evening, a herd PharmCats had gathered for socializing and nibbling under the shelter of a big top, and for honoring the four “Pharmacy Superstars” chosen for special awards this year. (Watch the Superstars video here.)

Sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80s made Saturday, Nov. 8 a perfect setting for tailgates, a colorful parade and trouncing the Colorado Buffaloes 38-20. Before the 6 p.m. game, fans of all ages and eras stopped by our tent on the UA Mall to cheer the parade floats, share in an Eegees or, as in the crazy groups shown above, take a memento photo in our photo booth.

More than 250 alumni, family members and friends joined us for Homecoming events, with a record 107 alumni attending. Share the happy memories of the two days by opening this video story!
