Janet Cooley selected as experiential education director at UA College of Pharmacy

Janet Cooley, PharmD, has been selected to be the director of experiential education for the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy.

In her new role, Cooley oversees, manages and coordinates nearly 700 preceptors at approximately 400 practice sites, supervises a staff dedicated to introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiential programs and participates directly in the programs as necessary. Cooley’s new appointment began Nov. 28.

Prior to coming to work for the college, Cooley was a staff pharmacist at the University of Arizona Medical Center – South Campus.

Cooley is a 2006 alumna of the UA College of Pharmacy.
