Bootman selected for PPSI Distinguished Person of the Year Award
J. Lyle Bootman, senior vice president for health sciences and dean of the College of Pharmacy at UA, has been selected to receive the Distinguished Person of the Year Award for 2012 from Pharmacists Planning Service, Inc.
PPSI is a California non-profit corporation that offers a large number of health awareness programs to promote public health and education.
The organization selected Bootman for the honor because of his many contributions to the profession of pharmacy. The award will be presented during the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting in New Orleans March 11.
