Course description:
To help those working in healthcare policy, pharmaceutical and biomedical industries, and academic research to understand and use RWE, the Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research (HOPE Center) is offering a 2-day practical educational program on RWE. The curriculum integrates real-world case studies, hands-on workshops, and interactive discussion. Participants will develop skills in evaluating, finding, and using real-world data. Participants can either attend live online or in-person at the University of Arizona campus (Tucson). Examples of program content delivered by 20 speakers include:
  • Hands-on evaluation of RWE studies
  • Hands-on use of real-world data (RWD)
  • U.S. and European initiatives concerning RWE
  • More than a dozen 15 minute "Pearl" sessions on technical, applied, payer and industry
  • Case studies on the impact of RWE on health care delivery
