PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency
The PGY2 Residency Program in Internal Medicine is a 12-month program designed to train selected, highly motivated and qualified pharmacists who are able to assume the responsibility for providing specialized pharmaceutical care to adult internal medicine patients.
Residency graduates are equipped to participate as integral members of interdisciplinary teams caring for internal medicine patients, assuming responsibility for the patient’s medication-related care. In that role they provide the team with evidence-based medication-related information and formulate that information into expert recommendations to the team for the use of medications and other therapeutic approaches. Rotations in general internal medicine, medical specialties and subspecialties are offered.
See the pages below for more information about the residency and how to apply.
