PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency

The Residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration is a 12-month program that is a candidate for accreditation by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.  Experiences available at The University of Arizona Medical Center-University Campus include fiscal planning and budgeting, human resource management, medication safety, drug information and utilization, supervision of pharmacy operations, information systems, quality assurance, and other administrative activities. Rotation schedules can be adapted to fit the interests of the resident. Residency includes an on-call and staffing component. Teaching opportunities include small group discussion facilitation and didactic lectures at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy.
