The College of Pharmacy provides many opportunities for clinical training and education to students from outside the United States. The reasons for this include:
- The fact that many countries/regions want to emulate the U.S. model of pharmacy education and practice. Among these regions are:
- Middle East
- Central America
- The desire in other countries to send students, practitioners and faculty to the U.S. for clinical education and training
Barriers to students coming from outside the U.S. include cost, language, immigration regulations and capacity on the U.S. side.
