The College of Pharmacy is very active in pharmacy education, training and collaborations around the globe. Our international programs include initiatives that send our students to many parts of the world to study, bring international students and faculty to the college for training, and provide opportunities for our faculty to consult in other countries.
COP has a long history of international involvement and collaborations through research, practice, education and organizations. The college engages in international activities for many reasons, including:
- To share knowledge and help others
- To learn from others
- To take advantage of the globalization of economies
The college's international efforts align closely with the University of Arizona's international programs. For more information regarding the UA's international programs, visit the UA Global Initiatives website.
