My research in the Medicinal and Natural Products Chemistry Program focused on metabolic profiling and target metabolites analysis of medicinal plants in Zingiberaceae using LC-MS and GC-MS. Moreover, my research was involved in phylogenetic analysis of Zingiberaceae species and accessions based on selected DNA sequences and chemical signature.
I am currently working at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory doing biomarker study using both metabolomic and proteomic approaches.
