Bio / Research:
Leslie Boyer, MD, is director of the Venom Immunochemistry, Pharmacology, and Emergency Response Institute (VIPER) and medical director of the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center. She is an associate professor of clinical pathology and a member of the BIO5 Institute.
Dr. Boyer's research includes clinical studies of envenomation and Phase II and III clinical trials of antivenoms for the treatment of scorpion stings and spider bites.
